I think fall has finally arrived!
It's safe to say that Summer was extended this year. I'm sure I'm not the only person who delayed in breaking out the sweaters and, boots due to the heatwave that passed through California?
Well, now that Fall is officially upon us, it is that time of year where I start to rest my vibrantly bright toned lipsticks from the Summer and, I trade them for vampy maroon to deep eggplant hues for the Fall season. I love wearing these intoxicating lip shades as an edgy option during the day or, for an elegant evening look. Worn either way is a staple go-to look for the Fall season.
I think we have all come along way from just wearing lip liner & lipgloss?

I defintely can recall the days when I would'nt even wear red lipstick unless, I had to wear it on stage for a dance recital back in the day. Now, I’m a big fan of a bold lip. Actually, the bolder, the better! I defintely gravitate towards matte lipsticks, especially liquid lipsticks! I love how liquid lipsticks glide on creamy and, then dry with a matte finish. If you also tend to lean towards matte lipsticks, don't forget to always hydrate your lips prior to applying. Because, they can be drying when used often. Using a lip balm before and, lightly blotting the balm before applying matte lipsticks is a trick I use to minimize dryness. Also, using a lip scrub like a Milani Keep It Sweet sugar lip scrub will help to ecourage an exfoliated hydrated smooth foundation for your lipstick.
